Call for Experts: Feed-the-Future Nigeria


CNFA is currently seeking applications from qualified candidates in the following areas for the anticipated USAID-funded Feed-the-Future Nigeria Agricultural Extension Services and Advisory Services. The activity seeks to increase smallholder farmers’ productivity, incomes, and household nutrition status in seven Feed the Future (FTF) focus states across four geographic zones in Nigeria through strengthening sustainable agricultural extension and advisory services.

CNFA is currently seeking applications for the following types of professionals with several years of experience in extension systems to support this project. Please indicate the area(s) of expertise for which you would like to apply in your application:

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is required, Master’s degree is preferred;
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in agricultural development, value chains and/or agribusiness as it relates to extension systems;
  • Experience working on USAID-funded projects is preferred;
  • Experience working in Nigeria is highly preferred; experience working in the region is desirable;
  • Fluency in English is required; Fluency in Hausa, Igbo, and/or Yoruba is preferred.
