Capacity-building in the agriculture sector chiefly addresses the establishment or strengthening of formal and informal institutions, the private sector and individuals. The range of stakeholders requiring capacity building assistance could include national governments, private sector institutions, NGOs, community groups, and individuals.

CNFA recognizes that institutional capacity building is central to the long-term development of the agricultural sector. This includes both public and private sector capacity building at the local regional and national levels as well as direct capacity building support to local partner organizations that support the implementation of many of CNFA’s projects.
