Farmer-to-Farmer is a USAID-funded initiative to send American agricultural/agribusiness experts to developing countries to offer technical assistance to our host organizations. These trips are volunteer-based, but all trip-related expenses are covered by CNFA, and typically last between two and three weeks.
Agro-livestock Lukunga is an association located near Soyo, Angola, which is linked to local agricultural organizations, farming associations, and oil companies in the area. The association would like to start a community citrus nursery on their farm to improve the general management of their 8 hectare orchard. The host is seeking a Farmer-to-Farmer volunteer provide the association with training on grafting and training on diversifying crops.
