Babu Ramasamy

Babu Ramasamy is a financial specialist with more than 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, cash flow management, auditing and senior-level operations management. He specializes in financial management of USAID cooperative agreements and contracts, as well as private foundation grants. As senior director, Operations, Compliance and Finance, Ramasamy is responsible for annual audits, internal control, financial analysis, cash flow management and guiding the finance department in banking relations.

Before joining CNFA, Ramasamy served as a finance manager at InterAction, working on multi-donor portfolios, membership accounts, annual audits and operational aspects of the finance department. He also worked as a senior auditor in India with a local accounting firm managing the audits of banks, corporations and foundations.

Ramasamy is CPA-certified and holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Toledo and a Master of Business Administration from Annaamalai University in India. He is a chartered accountant from India, which is recognized in commonwealth nations.
