Russ Webster has over 30 years of experience in public and private sector leadership in rural finance, small enterprise development, governance, local economic development, and policy and regulatory reform.
Before joining CNFA, Mr. Webster served as the President of Cardno Emerging Markets USA where he oversaw a portfolio of contracts and cooperative agreements in excess of $200 million with multiple clients including the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), World Bank Group, AusAID, United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID), African Development Bank (AfDB), Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), and other select commercial clients. Prior to joining Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Mr. Webster served in senior leadership positions at Development Alternatives Incorporated (DAI), Management Systems International (MSI), and Nathan Associates.
Mr. Webster brings experience in more than 40 countries across the world and skills in strategic planning, program design, evaluation, training and capacity building. Strongly committed to the future of global development, Mr. Webster is also a teacher and mentor to young development professionals.
Mr. Webster holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Rural Economic Development from Michigan State University.
