Innovation in communications technology is rapidly changing the social and economic landscape in the developing world.  Mobile technology, geographic information systems (GIS) and other ICT mechanisms can provide smallholder farmers and agribusinesses access to information, finance and resources quickly and at low cost. When applied effectively, CNFA understands that ICT can be used as a powerful tool in program implementation, as well as Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). We are integrating these innovative technologies in our programs to deliver more effective ways to improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers and promote commercial agribusiness.
